IBIS SINGAPORE NOVENA, Singapore

The hotel sits in a quieter neighbourhood a little outside the city centre, making local food and shopping easily accessible on foot. Zhongshan Mall (supermarket, Starbucks, McDonald's, Subway, 7-Eleven) is directly opposite, and United Square and Velocity Mall are a 10-minute walk away. For public transport, a bus stop is right across the road, while Novena MRT station is an 8-minute uphill walk (550 metres). Travel to Orchard Road or the Central Business District takes roughly 15 minutes by car or taxi. A variety of restaurants and hawker-style eateries surround the hotel, including Whampoa Food Street within 300 metres.

Room categories include Standard with queen bed, Standard with two single beds, Standard Family (one queen + one single), and Standard Triple (three single beds). All rooms have parquet flooring, a workstation, a safe, and free WiFi for up to five devices. Room dimensions are compact - opening a full suitcase on the floor can be tight - and bathroom size is similarly small. Balestier Road-facing rooms have a view but can be noisier, while internal-facing rooms feel more private. Windows can be opened partially after signing an indemnity form at the front desk. Housekeeping changes towels daily and refreshes the room; travellers who prefer daily full servicing should request this at the front desk.

Oopen Pasta & Grill is on the ground floor next to reception. Breakfast (06:30-10:00 daily) is a buffet with a wide variety that includes continental, Asian, and Indian options; the cost is SGD 26 per person if not included in the rate. For lunch and dinner (12:00-22:00), the à la carte menu covers pasta, grills, vegetarian dishes, and Asian cuisine, with a 15% discount for in-house guests from 12:00-16:00. The restaurant is not halal-certified. Cocktails and wine are available at the bar. A coffee shop, vending machines for drinks and snacks, and a kid-friendly buffet are also on site.

The property offers a lift, wheelchair-accessible rooms (lower bathroom sink, toilet grab rails), and facilities for disabled guests. Daily housekeeping is free; dry cleaning, ironing, and laundry service are available for an additional charge. A 24-hour front desk provides safety deposit boxes, currency exchange, and fax/photocopying for a fee. The hotel is non-smoking throughout, with a designated smoking area. Key card access and 24-hour security (CCTV, smoke alarms) are in place. Baby cots are available on request subject to limited stock. Accor Plus members can buy breakfast at a discounted rate direct from reception.
