KING CASTLE MOTEL, Los Angeles

The motel is situated 5 km from LA Memorial Coliseum, 6 km from the California Science Center and Natural History Museum, and close to SoFi Stadium and Dodger Stadium. Hawthorne Municipal Airport is 10 km away. The surrounding neighbourhood is known for safety and cleanliness concerns, with frequent police and ambulance activity, noticeable street noise, and a significant homeless presence. The area requires caution, especially at night, and car travel is strongly recommended over walking. Parking is limited, and the single narrow access lane can be difficult to navigate. A few restaurants and a gas station are within walking distance.

Room types include double and queen options, each equipped with air conditioning, a microwave, and a small refrigerator. The motel provides towels but no housekeeping service; extra towels must be requested. Cleanliness is a significant concern: bed sheets and linens have been found soiled and not changed between stays, surfaces have not been cleaned, and evidence of cockroaches, bed bugs, and spiders is frequently found. Maintenance problems include broken or non-functional TVs and remotes, water leaks, peeling paint, holes in walls, and mold in showers. Noise travels easily through walls, and the surrounding area contributes to a disruptive environment. Some rooms have a strong musty or chemical odor, and windows are sometimes left open. A wooden table and chair are provided.
