KOKOMO SUITES, Ocean City

The property sits on 73rd Street, a short 2-minute walk to the beach. Ocean City Boardwalk is a 10-15 minute drive south (6 km), making this a more relaxed base than the busy boardwalk zone. Roland E. Powell Convention Center is 3 km away, and Northside Park is 4 km from the hotel. Several casual restaurants and a deli are within a 5-minute walk. The nearest airport is Salisbury-Ocean City Wicomico Regional (39 km). Parking on site is limited to one space per room (US$10/day); additional vehicles may find free street parking, subject to local overnight rules.

All rooms feature a kitchenette equipped with a stovetop, microwave, full-size refrigerator, and basic cookware, plus a flat-screen cable TV and hair dryer. Upper-floor rooms (2nd and 3rd) have been renovated and offer walk-in showers only; bathtubs are limited to certain first-floor rooms and must be requested at booking. Balconies are available in select units - some overlook the pool, others face the parking lot. Beds are full-size (not queen or king), and the sofa bed mattress is firm. Road-facing rooms can pick up street noise, especially during summer weekends. The property's decor features bright colors, but furnishings show wear in some units. Maximum occupancy is 6 people per room.

The property's diner offers American-style breakfast and lunch options, and guests receive a 15% discount. For those who prefer to cook, each room's kitchenette includes a stove, microwave, and full refrigerator - a full-size fridge makes grocery storage easy for families. Nearby casual restaurants include The Bayside Skillet, The Hungry Seagull, and Big Pecker's Bar & Grill, all within a 5-minute walk. A deli and a grocery store are also close by for stocking the kitchen.

The pool is a central feature, surrounded by a fence and equipped with sun loungers and umbrellas. It is open from 09:00 to 20:00 daily during the season, but it is unheated and treated with chlorine - the water can feel cool. No lifeguard is on duty. An outdoor shower near the pool helps rinse off sand, though its operation can be intermittent. For evening relaxation, the pool closes at 20:00, so late swims are not possible.

The 24-hour front desk can assist with check-in, luggage storage, and requests. Daily housekeeping is provided free of charge, but guests needing fresh towels or trash removal outside the scheduled service should ask at the desk. An ATM is available on site. Wi-Fi is free in public areas but can be slow when many devices are connected. There is no laundry service or business center. Safety features include CCTV, smoke alarms, and key card access. The property has one accessible ground-floor room with a ramp entrance - there is no elevator.
