The Bolero Resort is situated one block from the heart of the Wildwood boardwalk, placing the beach, amusement piers, and boardwalk attractions within an easy stroll. Morey's Piers & Beachfront Water Parks are steps from the property, and Splash Zone Water Park is 290 metres away. The convention centre is 10 blocks (10-15 minutes on foot, 3-5 minutes by car). Several restaurants, bars, and shops are within a 5-minute walk along the boardwalk. The location is ideal for beach and boardwalk activities, though the immediate area can be lively and busy during peak season.

The property offers a mix of hotel tower suites and motel-style rooms. Tower suites (Luxury King Suite, Two Room Suites) have elevator access and views of the ocean or bay. The Luxury King Suite features a king bed, sofa bed, and a private two-person jacuzzi tub. Two Room Suites (40 m²) offer either one king or two double beds with a separate living area, wet bar, and two TVs. Motel sections (Efficiency Suite, Deluxe Room) have no elevator-all use stairs. The Efficiency Suite (34 m²) includes a kitchenette, two double beds, and a sofa bed. The Deluxe Room is the largest, with two king beds and a sofa sleeper. All units have private bathroom, air conditioning, microwave, and refrigerator. Some motel rooms have been recently updated; others show age. Noise levels can be high in rooms facing the pool or restaurant due to live music and DJ until late. Motel rooms have common balconies with chairs; tower rooms do not have private balconies. Cleanliness standards vary; some units have known issues with sand, hair, and mold, particularly in the motel section.

Blue Water Grille is a family-friendly restaurant serving American cuisine. Breakfast is available from 8am to 12pm (paid, not included in room rate). The Deck at Holly Beach, within a short walk, offers indoor and outdoor dining for lunch, dinner, and late-night snacks with nightly entertainment. The seasonal poolside Tiki bar (open daily in summer) serves drinks, frozen cocktails, and a full food menu, with DJs and live music. Happy hour and daily drink specials are offered. Several other eateries are within a 5-minute walk along the boardwalk. The on-site restaurant generally receives positive feedback for food quality, though service can be slow during peak times.

The indoor rooftop pool on the 7th floor is open daily (9am-9pm off-season, until 10pm in-season) and is accessible to all guests. It features two hot tubs, a sauna, and a steam room. The outdoor pool is heated, with a shallow end for children, and operates seasonally (typically May-September). Both pools have sun loungers, umbrellas, and towel service. The 900 m² fitness centre includes treadmills, ellipticals, stationary bikes, free weights, pin-select equipment, a stand-up tanning booth, and a cardio room. Massage services (deep tissue, Swedish, Reiki) are available for an additional charge. Guests must be 16 or older to use fitness equipment, hot tubs, and steam room; children under 16 require adult supervision. The hot tubs' water cleanliness and jet functionality can be inconsistent. The gym and indoor pool offer panoramic views of the island.

Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms and common areas. Free private parking is provided on site (no reservation needed), but spaces can fill up and handicap parking is very limited. The hotel has one elevator serving the tower; motel buildings have stairs only. Laundry facilities with coin-operated machines are available.
