HOTEL OPERA LAFAYETTE, Paris

The hotel is located on the main Boulevard Lafayette, placing it within easy walking distance of Cadet and Poissonnière metro stations. Gare du Nord is reachable in about 10-15 minutes on foot, providing direct RER B access to Charles de Gaulle Airport. The Opera House and Galeries Lafayette department store are approximately a 15-minute walk away, and many major attractions such as Montmartre, the Louvre, and Notre-Dame are accessible on foot or via public transport. The neighbourhood is lively and safe, with a wide variety of restaurants, bakeries, cafés, and a supermarket within a short walk. A public car park is located directly opposite the hotel.

All guestrooms include a private bathroom with a bath or shower, hairdryer, and complimentary toiletries. Rooms are equipped with air conditioning, heating, soundproofed walls, a flat-screen TV with cable channels, a minibar, a wardrobe, and a safety deposit box. Many rooms feature a small refrigerator, a kettle, and a French window opening onto a balcony with street views. Triple rooms are notably large and can accommodate up to three guests with separate beds. Front-facing rooms offer views of the square but may experience street noise, particularly on lower floors; rooms at the back are quieter but may face a lightwell. The metro line runs directly underneath the hotel, and vibration can be felt in rooms, though soundproofing helps mitigate the noise. Some rooms have recently renovated bathrooms, while others retain an older style.

The hotel does not have a pool, spa, gym, or sauna. Guests can walk to the nearby park in front of the hotel or explore the surrounding area, which includes the Opera House, Galeries Lafayette, Montmartre, and the Louvre within walking distance. The many nearby restaurants, bars, and boutiques provide ample leisure options.

Wi-Fi is available throughout the property free of charge. The 24-hour front desk provides concierge service, express check-in/check-out, and luggage storage both before check-in and after checkout. A paid shuttle service can be arranged for airport transfers, though the hotel does not provide a pickup service. The designated public car park is opposite the hotel and costs 41 EUR per day with no reservation needed. Other services include safe deposit boxes, meeting rooms (fax/photocopying for a fee), a vending machine for drinks, and cots on request. The hotel has CCTV, smoke alarms, and fire extinguishers. The lift is small and may require waiting, and the corridors are narrow.
