LA QUINTA BY WYNDHAM EL PASO EAST, Hacienda Heights

The hotel sits on the east side of El Paso with easy freeway access, making it practical for travelers passing through the city or exploring the region. The El Paso Zoo is a 13-minute drive away, and Walmart, restaurants, and fast-food outlets are within walking distance. The surrounding area offers museums, shopping at Bassett Center Mall and Cielo Vista Mall, and outdoor recreation at Franklin Mountains State Park. The border crossing into Mexico is a short drive south, and Fort Bliss is nearby. While the hotel is car-oriented, several dining options are within a half-mile walk, including Rudy's Country Store, Pizza Hut, and Applebee's.

Breakfast includes hot items like eggs and sausage patties, cereal, toast, bagels, yogurt, juice, and self-serve waffles (including Texas-shaped waffles). Coffee is available in the lobby throughout the morning. The breakfast area can be busy, and hot items may run low later in the morning. The hotel does not have a restaurant or bar, but several dining options are within a short walk: Rudy's Country Store and Bar-B-Q, Pizza Hut, Applebee's, Buffalo Wild Wings, and a Dunkin' Donuts across the freeway.

The outdoor pool is open year-round, though it may close during bad weather. The pool area has been noted as clean and family-friendly. There is no fitness center, spa, or indoor pool on site. The hot tub is located outdoors near the pool. For off-site leisure, guests can explore the Franklin Mountains State Park, the El Paso Zoo, or the shops at Cielo Vista Mall, all within a short drive.

Parking is free on site but requires a reservation - space for large trucks and trailers is very limited. The 24-hour front desk can assist with early check-in requests and call a taxi if needed; there is no airport shuttle. A lift serves all floors, and accessible parking and rooms are available. Pets are allowed with a $25 fee and a signed pet agreement. A small meeting room (seating up to 10 people) is available. The hotel accepts major credit cards (American Express, Visa, Discover, MasterCard). The minimum check-in age is 21. A military discount is offered with proof of service.
