LA QUINTA INN BY WYNDHAM DENVER CHERRY CREEK, Denver

The hotel is situated just off I-25 at exit 204, providing easy car access to the Denver Tech Center and downtown. The Colorado Blvd Light Rail station is a 5-minute walk, allowing car-free travel to the city centre, the airport, and Denver University (1 km away). A variety of casual restaurants (Five Guys, Perkins, Dave & Buster's, Which Wich, McDonald's, Crown Burgers, Amira Bakery, Fat Jack's Supersubs) and a Natural Grocer are within walking distance, covering both sit-down meals and grocery runs. Perkins Restaurant & Bakery is directly next door. The area is a busy commercial corridor; some rooms facing the street are quieter than expected due to the building's set-back, but nearby freeway and street noise can still be audible.

Accommodation is in a classic motel layout: rooms open directly to the parking lot, with exterior stairs to the second floor (no elevator). Standard rooms feature one king or two double beds, a sitting area, desk, ironing facilities, and an AM/FM alarm clock. Some rooms have been noted as compact, particularly those with two double beds, while larger king rooms and family suites offer more space and separate sleeping areas. Air conditioning and heating are provided. The private bathroom includes free toiletries; some units have a door separating the shower and toilet from the sink area. Comfort expectations are mixed - beds are frequently described as comfortable with clean linens, but overall room condition is dated, with worn furniture, stained carpet, strong odours (smoke or mildew) and poorly maintained baths reported in a number of stays. Road-facing rooms and upper-level rooms may experience noise from street traffic and footstep sounds from above. Windows do not block all outside noise. Request a second-floor room if light sleep is a concern.

Free breakfast offers a self-serve continental spread with a waffle station, cereal, bagels, hard-boiled eggs, yogurt, fruit, pastries, and 24-hour fresh coffee. Quality is described as adequate but basic - enough to start the day. Breakfast availability has been intermittent; during certain operational interruptions it has been substituted with a grab-and-go bag or not offered at all. For a fuller hot meal, Perkins Restaurant & Bakery is right next door in the same parking lot, with a 15% discount offered to hotel guests. Several other fast-casual options (Five Guys, Which Wich, McDonald's) are within a five-minute walk.

The hotel features an outdoor swimming pool, which is open seasonally. The pool area includes a sun terrace and is described as a decent place to cool off during warmer months, though poor maintenance and seasonal closure have been reported in some instances. No fitness centre or other dedicated leisure facilities are on site. The location near the Light Rail and downtown Denver means cultural, entertainment and recreational options are easily accessible by transit.
