LA QUINTA INN & SUITES BY WYNDHAM DALLAS/FAIRPARK, Dallas

The hotel sits off I-30, offering easy access to Fair Park (10 minutes away) and a straightforward 10-15 minute drive to downtown Dallas. The immediate area includes several dining options within 1 km, such as Denny's (0.5 km), Taco Cabana (1 km), and Casa Cavazos Restaurant (1 km), plus a Walmart and Sam's Club within 2 km. While the location is convenient for car travel, walking at night may feel less comfortable due to loitering in the vicinity. Public transport is limited; having a car is the most practical way to explore the city.

Rooms range from double rooms with one bed to quadruple rooms with two beds and suites. Each room has air conditioning, a private bathroom (bath or shower combination), a sitting area, ironing facilities, heating, and an AM/FM alarm clock. Some rooms include a kitchenette with a stove, though the burner may not function in all units. Bed sizes vary, and the beds are generally comfortable. The property offers wheelchair-accessible rooms via a lift. However, cleanliness and maintenance are inconsistent; some rooms show stains on furniture, dirty carpets, broken fixtures, or a musty smell. Rooms on lower floors may experience more noise and odors from public areas.

The breakfast is served as a continental buffet with hot items like scrambled eggs and waffles. The coffee has been noted as good by some, while others find it weak. The breakfast room serves a variety of options, though fruit is limited mostly to bananas and orange juice. Nearby dining options include Denny's (0.5 km), Taco Cabana (1 km), and Casa Cavazos Restaurant (1 km), offering alternatives for lunch or dinner. Breakfast hours and variety are subject to staff availability.
