LE FATE APARTMENTS, Rome

The property sits in the Monteverde district, a calm residential area with easy access to Rome's centre. Roma Trastevere Station is 2 km away, offering rail links across the city, while Fiumicino Airport is 22 km away. Bus routes 8 and 44 are within a short walk and reach the city centre in about 15 minutes. Key attractions like Piazza di Santa Maria in Trastevere (4 km) and St Peter's Basilica (5 km) are accessible by public transport. For those arriving by car, note that there is no on-site parking; nearby street parking can be competitive. The neighbourhood feels safe and has a supermarket and several restaurants and cafés within 300 metres.

Rooms are air conditioned and come with a private bathroom (bath or shower), a work desk, a small fridge, and free Wi-Fi. A few units have a balcony, which is popular for relaxing, while others offer a hot tub or a cooling fan instead of full air conditioning. City views are available from some rooms. The room with double doors can be noisy due to other guests passing through. The bed quality varies; some beds are comfortable, others may feel worn. Bathroom fixtures (toilets, showers, hot water) have been reported as unreliable in some cases. The property is generally clean, but some rooms show signs of age. Guests have described the style as vintage or basic, with decoration varying by unit.

Breakfast is offered in some room packages and typically includes sweet pastries, biscuits, juice, and coffee. The offerings are described as continental or Italian, but have been noted as simple - often pre-packaged items rather than freshly cooked. There is no restaurant or bar on the property. For a fuller meal, several dining options are within a 5-minute walk, including pizza (Pizzavolante at 0.5 km), Italian osteria (L'Osteria di Monteverde at 0.5 km), and Asian options (Meze Bistrot at 0.5 km, Yuki Tei at 0.5 km).

Wi-Fi is free in all rooms. The 24-hour front desk can arrange a paid airport shuttle, which must be booked after confirming your stay. Express check-in/out and luggage storage are free and useful for early arrivals or late departures. Daily housekeeping, laundry, and ironing are available at no extra charge. Babysitting services are free and can be requested. The property has a lift for easy access. Pets are not allowed. Accepted payment methods are Visa and MasterCard. Some guests have noted that the check-in process is straightforward and the hosts are responsive. The lack of on-site parking means guests rely on public transport or paid parking in the area.
