For those driving, Clam Pass Beach is a short drive away. The area is well-served by public transport, and the property borders a CVS and a Publix supermarket for essentials. Despite being on a noisy main road, the interior courtyard and gardens feel quiet and enclosed; rooms at the back are quieter. The location is car-friendly with free on-site parking, and the flat roads make the beach walkable, though some find the distance less practical for young children or when carrying beach gear.

Accommodation is in one-storey motel-style units around a courtyard with a pool and gardens. Rooms are generally large and come with a private bathroom, air conditioning (which can be noisy in older units), heating, a flat-screen TV, ironing facilities, and a sitting area. Some rooms have kitchenettes with a microwave, small fridge, toaster, and coffee maker - but no dishes or utensils are provided. Floors are tiled (no carpet), which is practical and clean. Bed quality varies: some are described as comfortable, others as hard or squeaky. Renovated rooms offer upgraded bathrooms and contemporary decor, while non-renovated rooms are older and can feel dark or worn. Room 119 has a musty smell, and some rooms near the parking lot of the adjoining CVS have a back door directly onto the lot.
