Loggia Fiorentina is set in a restricted-traffic zone in the historic heart of Florence, placing you within a few minutes' walk of the Duomo, the Accademia (home of Michelangelo's David) and the University. Santa Maria Novella train station is reachable in around 10 minutes on foot, and the tramline is also close by for quick airport or further city connections. The immediate area is lively with a high concentration of restaurants, cafés and local shops, though the cobbled streets can be tiring with heavy luggage. As there is no hotel parking, arriving by car is not practical - public transport or walking is the primary access option.

Rooms are compact and basic, furnished with vintage-style pieces and a flat-screen TV. Some rooms have a double bed, others offer two single beds or a small double. Air conditioning is available from May to October only; during cooler months, heating is provided. Sound insulation between rooms is minimal, so noise from neighbouring rooms and the shared bathroom corridor can be a factor - street-facing rooms are generally quieter, while rooms adjacent to common bathrooms may pick up frequent door noise. The private bathrooms are very small; the shower stalls are particularly narrow, making them challenging for taller individuals. In rooms without a private toilet, a sink is built into the sleeping area. Some rooms have an en-suite shower but the toilet is shared. Rooms with a private bathroom include a hairdryer; those using shared bathrooms can use the hairdryer available in the common facilities. No rooms have a balcony.

For full breakfast or dinner, the surrounding streets are dense with dining options including pizzerias, trattorias and international cuisine - several are within a 300-metre radius. Guests arriving late or relying on the vending machine should bring coins and be prepared for limited choices.

WiFi is free throughout the building. Luggage storage is available at no charge both before check-in and after check-out, making it practical for early arrivals or late departures. The property operates a self-check-in system: you must fill in an online form before 8 PM on arrival day to receive access codes for the building entrance and your room key lockbox. No staff are present on site, but a concierge service can be reached via phone or WhatsApp. Daily housekeeping is free on request.
