Lost Lake Lodge sits in a peaceful area of Blackcomb, away from the main village bustle. A free shuttle bus stops directly in front of the property every 10-30 minutes, making it easy to reach Whistler Village (2 km), the ski gondolas, and other resort amenities. The Squamish Lil'wat Cultural Centre is a 12-minute walk away, and Lost Lake and its beach are just a short stroll through the woods. Chateau Whistler Golf Course is also within walking distance. Driving is practical for groceries and excursions, but note that the on-site parking is paid and limited in space.

All accommodations are self-contained apartments rather than standard hotel rooms. They range from studio apartments to one- and two-bedroom units, sleeping up to four people. Each unit features a private bathroom with a bath, a well-fitted kitchen with a stovetop, refrigerator, dishwasher, oven, microwave, and kitchenware, as well as a washing machine, dryer, and a flat-screen TV with cable channels. A fireplace is included in every unit, and many offer a balcony or patio with views of the pool, forest, or mountains. Bedding options include extra-large double (king) beds and sofa beds. Some units are recently renovated with modern finishes, while others show older furnishings and carpets; requesting an updated unit may improve the experience. Units vary significantly, so reviewing photos and room details carefully is advised.

The heated outdoor swimming pool and hot tub are available for use throughout the year, including winter. These shared facilities are well-regarded for relaxing after a day of skiing or hiking. A small fitness centre is also on site. Lost Lake is a short walk away, offering swimming, hiking trails, and a beach area. Skiing is available at nearby Whistler Mountain (19 km) and Blackcomb, with the free shuttle providing easy access to the slopes. Board games are available in some units for quiet evenings in.

Wi-Fi is free throughout the property. Parking is available on site for CAD 25 per night, but spaces are small and cannot accommodate oversized vehicles; reservations are not needed. A lift provides easy access to upper floors. Safety deposit boxes, fire extinguishers, and smoke alarms are fitted. The front desk is staffed until 17:00; after that, assistance is available by calling a number that connects to a nearby property. No laundry or housekeeping services are provided during stays. Luggage storage is not available on site, but can be arranged at a nearby sister property.
