The Blackcomb Excalibur Gondola is roughly 500 m away - a 5-10 minute walk - and the free Village shuttle stops across the street every 7-10 minutes, making the base of both mountains the next stop. The Whistler Village centre with its restaurants, grocery stores (IGA within 3 minutes), liquor store, medical centre, and ski rental shops is all within a short, flat walk. Nicklaus North Golf Course is 3 km away, and the Whistler Skate & BMX Park is 1 km. The area is quiet despite being so central, and the free shuttle means you can leave the car in the free underground parking and explore entirely on foot or by bus.

The apartments range from one-bedroom (sleeping up to 4 with a pull-out sofa) to two-bedroom layouts (sleeping up to 6, often with 2 full bathrooms). Bedding in the second bedroom varies: bunk beds, two twin beds that can be joined into a king on request, or a queen pull-out couch. All units feature air conditioning, heating, a flat-screen TV, and a fireplace. Kitchens are fully equipped with a stovetop, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, and all cookware. Private terraces or decks include a private hot tub and garden or mountain views - but note that ground-floor units can be dark with limited daylight, and some units show dated furnishings. The property is older, but the spacious layout, two-level designs in some units, and quiet atmosphere make it a functional base. Request a top-floor unit if daylight and views are important.

Glaciers Reach does not operate a restaurant, bar, or breakfast service. Each unit has a full kitchen with an oven, stovetop, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, and all utensils - well-stocked for cooking family meals or preparing a packed lunch for the slopes. The IGA supermarket and liquor store are a 3-minute walk away for groceries and supplies. Whistler Village is packed with dining options - Tim Hortons, Crepe Montagne, Tandoori Grill, Wild Wood Pacific Bistro, and many others are within 0.5 km. The free shuttle or a short walk makes it easy to access the village restaurants without needing to drive.

The heated outdoor swimming pool operates all year and is fenced, with a shallow end and pool/beach towels provided. The complex also has a shared hot tub, sauna, and steam room - all free. Each unit has its own private hot tub on the deck or patio (max use until 10 pm), cleaned between stays. For active guests, free ski storage and a boot dryer are available. Skiing, hiking, cycling, and fishing are all accessible off-site (some free, some for a charge). The Whistler Skate & BMX Park is 1 km away, and Nicklaus North Golf Course is 3 km. Canoeing, horse riding, tennis, and windsurfing are available nearby for an additional charge.

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout all units and common areas. Parking is free in the secure underground garage (height restriction: 1.8 m 10 in) with accessible spaces and electric vehicle charging stations - no reservation needed, and enough space for 1-2 cars per unit. Bike storage is available in the parking garage, though the storage room has had security issues in the past. Check-in is contactless via a key code sent after full payment; express check-in/check-out are available. A washing machine and tumble dryer are included in every unit. There is no on-site reception, but the host is responsive by phone or email during business hours. The property is non-smoking throughout, and pets are not allowed.
