LOW BUDGET HOSTEL, Munich

The hostel is well positioned for those attending events at the Internationales Congress Center Munich (4 km) or the Munich Messe. Munich Residence and Deutsches Museum are both 9 km away. Public transport via the metro (5-minute walk to Moosfeld station) connects to the city centre. The immediate area has few grocery stores or bars, though a popular Italian restaurant is nearby. The neighbourhood is partly industrial and can feel less suitable for families with young children in the evening. Free street parking is sometimes available, but paid off-site parking is the main option. For airport access, use the metro-to-train connection or factor in a longer taxi ride.

The hostel offers twin rooms (2 single beds) and family apartments (with 3-4 beds). All rooms have shared bathrooms and toilets located on the corridor, with separate facilities per gender. Rooms come with parquet or carpeted floors, heating, and a flat-screen TV. Windows in some rooms only open to a tilt or require full opening, which can limit ventilation. Some rooms have practical additions like a work desk. The building has a lift. Bunk beds in certain rooms have limited lower-bunk headroom, and some mattresses have been noted as showing wear. The property is partially in a building originally designed for office use, with some areas under renovation, which can affect corridor lighting and overall atmosphere.

The hostel does not operate a restaurant or offer breakfast. A vending machine on-site provides drinks (coffee €2.50) and basic snacks. There are no grocery stores in the immediate vicinity, so planning ahead for meals is advisable. The nearest reliable dining option is an Italian restaurant a short walk away, which has been noted as a practical choice. A communal balcony with skyline views provides a casual space for eating self-supplied food.

A rooftop terrace provides outdoor space and city views, suitable for relaxing. Cycling is available as an activity in the surrounding area. There are no pool, spa, gym, or sauna facilities. The hostel is set up for practical, low-cost stays rather than leisure or extended relaxation.
