HOTEL LUCIEN, Paris

The hotel is steps from Strasbourg Saint-Denis metro station (lines 4, 8, 9) and minutes from Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est. The area is lively with numerous shops, bars, restaurants and theatres. While the immediate streets can feel unpolished, the location provides excellent walkability to major attractions and direct rail access to CDG airport via RER B. For Beauvais airport, take the bus to Porte Maillot then metro line 1 and 9 to Strasbourg Saint-Denis.

The hotel offers single, double and triple rooms. Double rooms feature a double bed (140x200 cm), while triple rooms offer two beds and some include a terrace. Many units are compact, particularly older rooms where the bathroom may be very small - the sink is occasionally placed next to the bed. The Lucien room is the only one with a balcony. Renovated rooms are more spacious with better bathroom layouts, while unrenovated rooms may show wear. Soundproofing varies: some windows effectively block street noise, but internal noise from corridors can be noticeable. Daily housekeeping is provided, and a kettle with tea/coffee is available in rooms.

Breakfast is served in the bright lobby/lounge area and includes fresh croissants, orange juice, coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. While simple, it provides a convenient start for the day.
