Main Street Station occupies one of Breckenridge's most central positions, directly on Main Street. All shops, restaurants (including Quandary Grille, The Blue Moose, and Breckenridge Brewery & Pub), and the Quicksilver chairlift-offering direct slope access-are within a short, level walk. Access to hiking, biking, and fishing trails starts from the doorstep. The free on-site parking avoids the usual town parking hunt, though a reservation is required. For airport transfers, there is no shuttle; use Denver Airport shuttles or on-site parking. Navigating from the garage to units can be indirect on first arrival; allow a few minutes to orient.

All units-studios, suites, and multi-bedroom apartments-are individually decorated and vary in layout. Kitchens include a coffee maker, toaster, microwave, full-sized refrigerator, stove, and dishwasher, plus cookware and utensils. Each unit has cable TV with DVD player, a flat-screen TV, and many include a fireplace and in-unit washer/dryer. Bed sizes range from one to five beds per unit; bathrooms are private and many offer large walk-in showers or jet tubs. Some rooms feature a balcony with mountain views. The units appeal to both couples and families, with comfortable beds and spacious bathrooms highlighted as practical features. Elevator access is available, though elevators can be slow at peak times. Note: there is no air conditioning in most units; open windows are used for ventilation.

Dining at Main Street Station is entirely self-catered or town-based. The full kitchen in each unit makes cooking easy, and a grocery delivery service can stock provisions on arrival. No on-site restaurant, bar, or breakfast room exists, so all meals are either prepared in-unit or planned at the many restaurants within a 2-minute walk. Nearby options include Breckenridge Brewery & Pub, Quandary Grille, Sancho Tacos and Tequilas, Burke and Riley's Irish Pub, and The Blue Moose. This suits guests who prefer flexibility or are on a budget.

The wellness area offers a sauna, fitness centre, and an outdoor hot tub/Jacuzzi. There are at least three heated outdoor pools: Pool 1, Pool 4, and Pool 5 (seasonal). A separate swimming pool with heating is also available. These facilities are popular as a post-ski or post-hike recovery option. No spa or full-service wellness centre exists on site.

The 24-hour reception team can assist with check-in, concierge requests, and luggage storage. Free Wi-Fi is available across the property. Free parking is offered in a nearby off-site lot with a reservation required-no street parking or shuttle service is available. A parking garage is also present. Ski valet rental and storage are available, making slope access even easier. Babysitting and board games are available for families. The property has a lift, but elevators may be slow.
