The area is walkable and feels safe, though the hostel is slightly further from the main tourist core than some alternatives.

Each bed is in a bunk-style pod with curtains for privacy, a personal light, and a locker underneath. Rooms have tile or marble flooring and air conditioning. The shared bathrooms include a shower, bidet, and hairdryer, with hot water available. Some rooms have windows, which helps with air circulation. The common spaces are small, so this is a place best used for sleeping after a day out; it is not designed for socialising or lounging. Cleanliness levels are generally high, though some travellers note that bed linens and bathrooms can vary.

Breakfast consists of bread with spreads (jam, peanut butter, butter), plus instant coffee and tea. A vending machine with drinks is available. There is no restaurant on site, but the surrounding streets offer numerous eateries, cafes, and a 24-hour food place right next door, as well as a hawker centre a short walk away. This makes the hostel practical for travellers who want a light base meal before heading out.

There are no on-site wellness or leisure facilities at the hostel. However, the neighbourhood offers an ice-skating rink and boating opportunities. A public swimming pool is within a 5-minute walk (charges apply). Several cafes and restaurants nearby also provide casual leisure options after a day out.

The hostel provides free WiFi in all areas, 24-hour CCTV security, and express check-in/check-out. Luggage storage is free on check-out day if collected before 11 PM; storage beyond that day costs S$10 per day. Laundry service is available for S$15 per wash-and-dry cycle, and a vending machine for drinks is on site. Parking is possible nearby at S$14 per day, but it is off-site and first-come. Pets are not allowed. The reception is open from 7 AM to 11 PM; late arrivals require a pre-arranged self-check-in.
