A bus stop is also immediately outside. Bugis Street is a 6-minute walk away, and Mustafa Centre is less than 1 km. The Singapore Art Museum is a 12-minute walk, Raffles City is 2 km, and major attractions like the Esplanade theatres and Suntec Convention Centre are within 2.4-3 km. The surrounding Little India area offers a wide variety of Indian and international restaurants, grocery shops, money changers, and a 7-Eleven a few minutes' walk away. For car users, no parking is available, so public transport is the primary access method.

The accommodation is a true budget-to-basic offering. Room sizes are extremely small - often barely larger than the bed itself, with some described as fitting only a single bed and a small bag. This makes them suitable primarily for sleeping, not for relaxing in the room. The most critical decision is choosing a room with a window: windowless rooms are common and frequently associated with poor ventilation, musty smells, and mold. Road-facing rooms are exposed to heavy traffic noise, and walls are thin, so noise from other guests carries easily. Air conditioning units can be effective but may appear unmaintained. The electric kettle is provided, though cups or glasses may not be. Housekeeping is not automatic and must be requested daily for trash removal or towel changes. Maintenance standards vary, with some fixtures reported as worn, and occasional pest issues (cockroaches) are a known risk.

The hotel does not operate its own restaurant, bar, or breakfast service. For meals, the immediate neighbourhood is a significant advantage.
