The neighbourhood is walkable and safe for solo travellers, though the immediate streets can feel busy on event nights.

Rooms feature pod-style bunks - both single and bunk pods - each with a roll-down curtain, reading light, personal fan, and power outlets. The pods feel private but are not soundproof. Under-bed storage with a pull-out tray is available; a lock from reception is required to secure it. Rooms can feel cramped, especially in 10- to 17-bed dorms where floor space is minimal. Some pods have a small window behind the head that does not fully darken, letting in street light. The building is relatively new, so facilities are clean, but bathrooms may have issues such as difficult doors, lack of hooks, and poor ventilation. A few rooms have private bathrooms, but most share compact bathroom stalls with a shower, toilet, and sink. Toileting and noise from adjoining rooms are common. Noise levels can be high due to door slamming, hallway activity, and other guests. The on-site cleaning is generally reported as clean, but some areas show wear and inconsistent housekeeping.

Breakfast is a self-serve affair with coffee, tea, and pre-packaged cookies or pastries set out near the lobby. There are no hot dishes, no buffet, and no seated dining area.
