Location

Located 400 metres from Fortezza da Basso and 800 metres from Santa Maria Novella, Melody House offers easy access to Florence's historic centre.

Santa Maria Novella station is an 8-minute walk, with the city centre reachable in about 15 minutes on foot. For airport transfers, the tram stop nearby connects directly to Peretola Airport (4 km away). The area has several dining options within a 5-minute walk, including Il Gusto Dim Sum, Salaam Bombay, and Emin Group Kebab. The street can be busy, so rooms not facing the road are quieter for sleeping.

Dining

Daily breakfast is available for an additional charge of 7 EUR, offering a small selection of pastries, coffee, and tea.

Breakfast is a modest continental affair, typically including a coffee and a pastry. The property has no restaurant, but there are several eateries within a short walk, such as Il Gusto Dim Sum, Salaam Bombay, and Trattoria Dall'Oste, providing varied dining options for lunch and dinner. The shared lounge offers a kettle and tea/coffee facilities for guest use.

Amenities

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout. Daily housekeeping, luggage storage before check-in, and a lift provide practical support.

Services include daily housekeeping and luggage storage, which helps when arriving early or leaving after check-out. The property has key card access and a shared lounge. Reception service is limited in the afternoon; staff speak mainly Italian but communicate helpfully. There is no parking, no airport shuttle, and no pets allowed. Check-in is possible via automatic system until 22:00 with prior notice.
