HOTEL ANGELICA FIRENZE, Florence

The hotel sits 50 metres from the main railway station and tram stop, which connects to Florence Airport in 20 minutes (€1.50 ticket). The Duomo, Palazzo Vecchio, and Ponte Vecchio are within a 10-15 minute walk. The Accademia Gallery and Mercato Centrale are similarly close. The immediate area around the station can feel busy and less polished, but the main tourist zone is only a few blocks away. For those driving, the hotel is inside the ZTL (restricted traffic zone); the recommended approach is to park at Garage Nazionale on Via Nazionale before entering the limited area.

Room types range from single to family (up to 4 beds). Standard rooms are small and basic in style; some rooms have small windows or skylights rather than a full window, which can affect natural light. Road-facing rooms may experience some street noise, while quieter rooms face the courtyard or inner street. The family room option includes up to 4 single or combination beds. Daily housekeeping keeps rooms clean and towels are changed daily. The lift serves the 3rd-floor reception but note the 2 street-level steps to access the lift.

Wi-Fi is free throughout the property, though connectivity can be weak in some rooms. Luggage storage is offered free of charge from 08:30 until 22:00, allowing early arrivals and late departures to explore unencumbered. A tour desk provides maps and recommendations. The hotel is not entirely step-free: there are 2 steps to the lift. A shared lounge/TV area and a coffee shop are available on site. The front desk is staffed from 07:00 to 22:00; outside these hours entry is via keys provided at check-in.
