Hotel Metrò sits on a wide, tree-lined street in a safe residential neighbourhood near Corso Vercelli's elegant shops and restaurants. Wagner metro station is 100 m away, providing direct trains to the Duomo (6 stops) and Milan Central Station. Tram line 16 passes directly in front of the hotel, connecting to San Siro Stadium (10 minutes) and the city centre. The A4 motorway and Rho Pero exit are close by for drivers, and the hotel is outside Area C (no restricted traffic charges). Within a 30-minute walk you can reach the Duomo, Santa Maria delle Grazie (The Last Supper), and Castello Sforzesco. Several cafés, restaurants, and a supermarket are within 300 m.

Rooms range from single and double/twin to triple and family rooms (double bed plus two single beds for children). Some rooms are compact, especially the smaller doubles; the suite offers a separate living area with a sofa bed and a bathroom with both shower and bathtub (plus Bluetooth speakers). Air conditioning is standard but can be noisy in some units; the unit in certain rooms has been noted for its loud operation. Windows face either the street (tram noise) or a quieter courtyard - requesting a back-facing room on a higher floor can improve sleep quality. All rooms include a safe, satellite TV with international channels, a telephone, slippers, and a digital scale. Daily housekeeping is provided, and cots are available on request. Note that there are no balconies and no connecting rooms.

The breakfast buffet (€15 per person) includes fresh pastries, bread, cold cuts, cheeses, yoghurt, cereals, scrambled eggs, sausages, fresh fruit, and a choice of hot drinks (espresso, cappuccino, coffee). The surrounding area is ideal for walking to attractions such as Sant'Ambrogio Basilica, Castello Sforzesco, and the Duomo (30 minutes on foot). San Siro Stadium is reachable in 10 minutes by tram (line 16), and the fashion district of Montenapoleone is a short metro ride away. Public transport makes it convenient to explore the city's museums, galleries, and shopping streets.

Wi-Fi is free in all areas, though signal strength can vary between rooms (some have reported weak connections). A lift serves all floors (compact size). Luggage storage is complimentary and available before check-in and after check-out. The 24-hour front desk offers concierge services, private check-in/out, and can arrange airport transfers (at extra cost).
