RESIDENZA CENISIO, Milan

The residency sits in a quieter residential area between Isola-Garibaldi and Ghisolfa, close to Milan's Chinatown and Parco Sempione. The Cenisio metro stop (line 5, purple) is a 5-minute walk away, providing a direct 15-minute ride to the Duomo and San Siro stadium. Tram and bus stops are within 400 metres. A nearby Aldi and a 24-hour Carrefour make self-catering practical. While the area is generally safe, some streets can feel isolated at night; for late returns, the 24-hour reception adds reassurance.

Accommodation ranges from standard rooms to spacious one-bedroom apartments and studios. All include free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TV, air conditioning, and a private bathroom with power shower. Apartments add a fully equipped kitchenette with stove-top, fridge-freezer, tea and coffee facilities, and a washing machine (drying racks provided). The living area often features a sofa bed, allowing for up to 2 extra guests. Blackout curtains and Egyptian cotton linens are standard. Request a single-bed setup at booking. Note that room quality and cleanliness can vary significantly: while some rooms are spacious and clean, others have been reported with ageing furniture, limited socket functionality, and inconsistent air conditioning. Rooms facing the railway can be noisy; lighter sleepers may prefer a higher floor away from the tracks. No balcony is available.

The property does not serve breakfast or have a restaurant. A snack and drink vending machine is available in the lobby. Each apartment's kitchenette allows guests to prepare their own meals, and an Aldi supermarket is an 8-minute walk away. Within a 500-metre radius, there are several dining options including Pepe Verde, Sikania, Osteria Borgese, and Wok of Milan. The 24-hour reception can recommend local eateries and even order food for late arrivals.

The property does not have a swimming pool, spa, or fitness centre. The on-site garden offers a quiet outdoor space for guests to sit. The location is close to Parco Sempione, a large park ideal for jogging or walks, and within easy reach of San Siro stadium for sports events.

The front desk is staffed around the clock, allowing late or early arrivals and quick check-in. Free luggage storage is available before check-in or after checkout. Free private parking is on site, no reservation needed, but it is not under video surveillance. Wi-Fi is free throughout the property. A lift provides access to all three floors, with facilities for disabled guests. Ironing boards, hairdryers, and extra towels or bedding can be borrowed from reception. Housekeeping is available twice a week for a supplement; daily cleaning is not standard. Pets are allowed on request with possible charges. The property is non-smoking throughout.
