MH APARTMENTS TETUAN, Barcelona

The Tetuan metro station is located directly outside the apartment entrance, offering direct and fast connections across the city. The Sagrada Familia is a 15-minute walk away, and the central Rambla is approximately 25 minutes on foot. The surrounding area is well served with supermarkets, cafés, bakeries, bistro restaurants, and a highly-rated Sichuan hot pot restaurant on the ground floor. Public bicycle stations and Bolt/Uber are also easily accessible. The building itself is on a busy roundabout, though soundproofing in the apartments means traffic noise is rarely an issue. However, the school located next door can produce significant noise from the schoolyard and basketball courts in the mornings, which may affect light sleepers.

The apartments are housed in a beautiful, historic building with high ceilings and original features like stained glass and decorative tilework. Available units range from two-bedroom apartments (with either one or two bathrooms) to three-bedroom apartments with two full bathrooms. Each apartment includes a separate living room with a double sofa bed and a flat-screen TV. The kitchen is fully equipped with a stovetop, refrigerator, dishwasher, and washing machine; a coffee machine is provided but an electric kettle may need to be requested in advance. Air conditioning is available in the living room and main bedrooms, but some smaller single rooms lack AC and can become very hot in summer or cold in winter. Road-facing rooms or those near the school may experience intermittent noise, while back-facing and higher-floor apartments tend to be quiet. The decoration is functional and clean rather than luxurious, with comfortable beds noted by many.

There is no restaurant or breakfast service on site, but the apartments feature a full kitchen with a hob, refrigerator, dishwasher, and basic cookware, making self-catering straightforward. For eating out, a popular Sichuan hot pot restaurant is located directly on the ground floor of the building. The surrounding streets offer a wide variety of dining options including Italian, Spanish, and international cuisine, as well as bakeries and cafés for morning coffee and pastries. A supermarket can be found within a two-minute walk, ideal for picking up supplies. The kitchen is stocked with basic cleaning items and a dishwasher tablet, though for extended stays you may need to bring your own dishwashing liquid and extra supplies.

The apartments are well placed for exploring Barcelona on foot or by metro, with many of the city's main sights-including the Sagrada Familia, the Gothic Quarter, and Las Ramblas-within a 15-30 minute walk. For those interested in cycling, a public bicycle station is located directly outside the building. The lively neighbourhood offers a number of parks and squares that are pleasant for a stroll or an evening drink. Because there are no dedicated wellness facilities on site, travellers looking for a pool or gym should plan to use city-run or private facilities elsewhere.

Free WiFi is available throughout the property, and the connection is reported to be fast and reliable. The building has a lift, providing access to all floors. The automated check-in machine is located in the entrance hall and handles key collection, but scanning a passport may require several attempts; a phone or chat support line is available for assistance if needed. There is no reception desk, luggage storage, or on-site staff, so guests arriving early should arrange their own luggage plans. A taxi booking service can be arranged through the management the day before departure. Safety features include CCTV in common areas, fire extinguishers, and soundproofed rooms. The apartments are cleaned before arrival, but on request only or self-service if staying longer. A deposit is required and is processed using a Visa or Mastercard debit/credit card.
