For Girona airport, take a train from Barcelona-El Clot (a short metro ride away). Several cafés, bakeries, and supermarkets (including a Mercadona and a Consum) are within a 2-minute walk, making self-catering convenient. The area felt safe even late in the evening. Ubers to central attractions are expensive; the metro is the practical choice.

Shared dorms feature pod-style beds with privacy curtains, a personal reading light, a power socket, and a locker (bring your own padlock or buy one at reception for €5). The beds are comfortable with good mattresses, though tall travellers (over 190 cm) may find the length limiting. XL beds are larger and include a TV; these are located in mixed dorms and are not in a separate XL-only room. Private options include POD rooms (max 2 people) and triple rooms (max 3).
