The residence sits in a quieter part of Barcelona, close to the Forum area and the CCIB convention centre (within a 20-minute walk). Forum Beach is 15 minutes on foot, and Barcelona El Prat Airport is 17 km away. Public transport is excellent: the metro (L4 line), tram, and bus stops are all within 5-7 minutes, getting you to Sagrada Familia in about 40 minutes or the city centre in 15-20 minutes by metro. Bike rental stations (Bicing) are also nearby. By car, the city centre is quickly reachable, and a supermarket and several bars/restaurants (Bar Amanecer II, Echo Restaurant, etc.) are within 0.5 km. The area itself is relatively calm and safe, though it borders the less safe La Mina neighbourhood; walking alone at night is not recommended.

All rooms are compact but functional, featuring a private bathroom with shower, a kitchenette equipped with a microwave, fridge, and seating area, plus air conditioning and heating. Single rooms have one bed, twin rooms two, and the apartment has four separate bedrooms. Rooms are generally clean and modern, with minimalistic furnishings. Room quality varies significantly: some rooms are described as very clean and comfortable, while others have reported issues such as dirt, ants, broken blinds, non-functioning refrigerators, and cigarette smoke smell. The thin walls and hollow doors mean noise from hallways and nearby rooms can be a problem, especially lower floors near common areas. Sound insulation between rooms is reportedly better. Air conditioning effectiveness has been inconsistent, with some rooms being too hot or too cold, and central control may override individual settings. Some rooms face the street or parking area, adding traffic noise.

The property has a coffee shop and snack bar on the ground floor, plus a cafeteria (residence dining room) that serves reasonably priced breakfast, lunch, and dinner on weekdays. However, the cafeteria is only open on weekdays and closes early, so weekend meals or late dinners require advance planning. In-room kitchenettes include a microwave and fridge, allowing basic meal preparation. Note that the kitchenettes may lack basic cookware, cutlery, and dishwashing supplies. For a wider selection, several restaurants (Echo Restaurant, La Rambla Bar Restaurant, The Gym Bar, Tento Forum, and Forn de pa Cafeteria) are within a 5-minute walk, and a supermarket is just outside the door for groceries.

The rooftop outdoor swimming pool operates seasonally, with sun loungers and great views over Barcelona. It can get busy during summer afternoons and evenings, especially on weekends. The fitness centre is free to use and includes basic equipment. Additional leisure options include a games room (table tennis), a shared lounge/TV area, and a sun terrace with garden space. The pool and terrace are popular and can become crowded; early morning or late afternoon visits tend to be quieter.

Wi-Fi is free and covers all areas, with generally good speed reported. The 24-hour front desk can assist with late check-in (after 23:00), luggage storage, and booking in multiple languages (though English proficiency varies among some staff). On-site private parking is available for €10 per day with a required reservation and provides security. A hair dryer can be borrowed from reception, and an iron is not available. The laundry room has washer and dryer machines for an extra fee. There are no daily cleaning services; housekeeping is limited to once per week or on request, and guests may need to request toilet paper, towels, and cleaning supplies from the desk. The lift serves all floors but can be slow. Accessibility features include wheelchair access, grab rails in toilets, and lower bathroom sinks.
