OLA LIVING BORN, Barcelona

The property sits in the heart of Barcelona, less than 1 km from Plaça Reial, a 12-minute walk from Boqueria Market, and 600 metres from the Cathedral of Barcelona. Barcelona El Prat Airport is 13 km away. The area is packed with restaurants, bars, and shops, including El Xampanyet, Bar Rodrigo, Bodega la Puntual, and Estimar all within a 0.5 km radius. A metro station is nearby, connecting to the city centre in about 10 minutes. While the location is central and ideal for exploring on foot, the street can be noisy until late, especially around nightlife spots. The neighbourhood is generally safe and walkable, though some side alleys are darker.

The apartments are available in several categories: Standard Studio (with a small balcony), Studio Apartment (no balcony/terrace), and Studio with Terrace (a larger terrace, often overlooking the church and street). The Studio with Terrace offers the best outdoor space. Rooms typically include a double bed (one large mattress), a TV, a safe, ironing facilities, and a washing machine. Kitchens are equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, toaster, kettle, and basic cooking pans. Some units also have a dishwasher. The bathrooms are functional but very compact; the shower is small, and the floor can get slippery. Rooms on lower floors can be quite noisy from the street and building corridors, while higher floors are quieter. Decor is modern with exposed brick, but some apartments get limited natural light and can feel dark. The bed is widely considered very comfortable.

The kitchen comes with a refrigerator, microwave, toaster, electric kettle, and basic cookware, making it easy to prepare simple meals. There is no breakfast service, so guests rely on the kitchen or the abundant local dining options. The area is famous for its tapas bars, seafood restaurants, and cafes, all just a short walk away. For a casual morning coffee, nearby spots like Funky Bakers are recommended. The kitchen lacks starter supplies such as oil, salt, pepper, and coffee capsules, so plan to purchase these upon arrival.

The property does not have a pool, spa, gym, or communal leisure areas. The main outdoor amenity is the private balcony or terrace offered by certain room categories. The Studio with Terrace provides a pleasant spot for morning coffee or evening relaxation, often with a view of the Santa Maria del Mar church. For leisure activities, guests can walk 17 minutes to Barceloneta Beach or explore the city's museums and cultural sites.
