MICROTEL INN & SUITES BY WYNDHAM CHARLOTTE/NORTHLAKE, Charlotte

The hotel is located just off I-77, providing convenient car access to Uptown Charlotte (~10-15 minutes) and major attractions like the Fillmore or NASCAR events. The immediate area includes a Waffle House, Cook-Out, Denny's, Starbucks, and a gas station all within a 5-minute walk, with more dining (Dominos, Bojangles, Sunset Soul Food) slightly further. Free on-site parking is available and spaces are typically plentiful. The surrounding neighborhood is a mix of commercial and industrial, with a notable presence of people lingering in the parking lot at times. Public bus service provides a connection to downtown, though a rental car or ride-share is more practical for most guests.

The complimentary breakfast includes self-serve waffles, bread, bagels, cream cheese, peanut butter, jelly, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, and fruit. Coffee and juice are also available. The breakfast is light and carb-focused, with no hot eggs, bacon, or meat. For a heartier meal, the hotel is a short walk from Waffle House, Denny's, Cook-Out, and other fast-food restaurants. Vending machines in the hotel offer snacks and cold drinks. For better coffee, a Starbucks is located next door.

The pool is permanently closed, so guests seeking leisure amenities should plan accordingly. There is no fitness center, spa, or games room on the property. For recreation, the location provides quick access to Uptown Charlotte's attractions and nearby restaurants.

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel. Free on-site parking is a practical benefit, though note signs indicate the hotel is not responsible for theft or vandalism. The 24-hour front desk allows for late check-in. Other services include an ATM on site, a business center, vending machines for drinks and snacks, and a safety deposit box. The hotel has an elevator and features wheelchair-accessible rooms. Pets (dogs and cats up to 11 kg) are allowed for a nightly fee. A refundable $100 cash deposit is required at check-in, and a credit or debit card must be provided for incidentals. Accepted payment methods include American Express, Visa, Discover, and MasterCard.
