MICROTEL INN & SUITES BY WYNDHAM INDIANAPOLIS AIRPORT, Indianapolis

The hotel sits just off the interstate, about 9 km from downtown Indianapolis and a few minutes' drive from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Indianapolis Zoo, and the convention centre. The immediate area is commercial, with a Sam's Club adjacent and a Mexican restaurant next door. For dining, Subway and Super China Buffet are within 1 km. The location is car-dependent; there is little within walking distance. Free on-site parking and a 24/7 airport shuttle make it practical for airport layovers or event travel.

The property offers double rooms, quadruple rooms, and suites, each with a private bathroom (bath or shower). Rooms are described as spacious and clean, with microwaves and refrigerators standard. Bed comfort is variable; some find mattresses too firm or pillows flat, while others appreciate the comfort. Noise from thin walls and hallways can be an issue. Rooms show signs of age and wear. Features include a work desk, seating area, ironing facilities, and heating. There are no balconies. The hotel provides express check-in/out and daily housekeeping.

The breakfast includes cereal, yogurt, bagels, biscuits and gravy, pancakes (using a silver-dollar maker), coffee, juice, and sometimes fruit. Options are limited - no eggs, meat, or fresh fruit are typically offered. The adjacent Mexican restaurant is a convenient dinner option and offers a 10% discount. For other meals, guests may need to drive: a Subway and a buffet are about 1 km away.

There is no swimming pool or spa. The fitness centre is small, with a couple of machines and no free weights. For leisure, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway is a few minutes' drive, and the zoo and convention centre are accessible by car.
