Situated in a quiet, well-kept residential street yet just steps from Milan's main shopping and cultural landmarks - La Scala is less than 1 km away, GAM Milano is 9 minutes on foot, and Villa Necchi Campiglio is a 3-minute walk. San Babila Metro (M1) is 300 metres away, providing direct connections across the city and to Milan Linate Airport (7 km). The area is ideal for exploring on foot. The immediate surroundings include a Carrefour Express supermarket for groceries, and multiple restaurants, bars and sushi spots within 0.5 km. Paid parking is available on nearby Via Mascagni, but on-street parking is very limited and driving in the city centre is not recommended. The tram and bus stops are also within a few minutes' walk, making car-free travel easy.

Each apartment comprises 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom with shower and free toiletries, and a living area with a dining table and a sofa bed. The kitchen includes a stovetop, refrigerator, dishwasher, oven, electric kettle, and a capsule coffee machine (bring your own capsules). A washing machine, ironing facilities, and a flat-screen TV with cable channels are provided. The apartments are spacious by Milan standards, but furnishings are basic with hard surfaces and limited soft seating. The sofa bed can be noisy and less comfortable. One apartment offers a garden view. Lighting throughout is dim and may not suit those who prefer bright rooms. The wardrobe hanging height is very high, making it difficult to reach. Shutters are operated by old cloth ribbons that require hand-washing after handling. Noise from the street traffic can be audible in front-facing apartments, so a courtyard-facing unit is recommended for quieter stays. There is a lift in the building, making them accessible.

Guests can cook their own meals using the stovetop, oven, and dishwasher. The kitchen is stocked with basic cookware and utensils, though quantities can be minimal (e.g., only 3 coffee spoons, mismatched crockery). No coffee capsules, tea, sugar, salt, oil or other pantry items are provided - these must be purchased. A supermarket is just across the street, making self-catering practical. There is no restaurant, bar, or café in the building. The surrounding area (within 0.5 km) offers several restaurants and takeaway options including Brek, Urban Sushi, Bastianello, and a Max Bar, offering variety for dining out.
