Hotel Di Porta Romana sits in a quiet residential area near Milan's southern gateway. Porta Romana metro station (yellow line) is within 5 minutes on foot, providing direct connections to the Duomo in about 25 minutes and to Milano Centrale station without line changes. The neighbourhood offers a wide choice of dining, including over a dozen restaurants within 500 metres. Supermarkets and grocery stores are also close by. For airport transfers, take a shuttle bus to Milano Centrale from Malpensa or Bergamo, then the yellow metro to Porta Romana. Private on-site parking is available but requires advance reservation and costs €20 per night.

All rooms include a private bathroom with shower and hairdryer, a TV, wardrobe, and safe. Selected rooms have a balcony overlooking the city, and some have been recently renovated with electric shutters and modern furnishings. A few units include a minifridge. Free daily housekeeping and luggage storage are provided. Rooms are basic but clean and functional, suitable for short stays. Noise from corridors and street can be audible in some rooms, so light sleepers may prefer a quieter room. Heating and air conditioning are available; the heating system can produce noticeable noise during operation, and the air conditioning may not always provide consistent cooling. Bed configurations: double room with one double bed, single room with one single bed.
