The hotel is centrally located in Berlin's western city centre, placing the major transport hub Zoologischer Garten (U/S-Bahn, buses) just a 3-4 minute walk away, giving easy access across the city and to the airports without a car. The area is safe and lively, with direct bus stops outside and numerous dining options - Italian, sushi, and beer bars among them - within 300 metres on Kantstraße. The immediate surroundings, especially around the station, can feel gritty in spots, but the neighbourhood itself is well-trafficked and considered safe at all hours. Kurfürstendamm's shopping, the Zoo, and Tiergarten park are all easily reached on foot.

The standard rooms are on the smaller side, suitable for single occupancy or short stays but can feel cramped for two guests with luggage, as storage is minimal and there are no wardrobes or drawers. The bed is a single double (not twin), and pillows and mattresses use synthetic fill, which some may find firm. Rooms with a proper work desk must be requested directly at booking. All rooms are carpeted and include heating, a sitting area, free toiletries, and a hairdryer; a few have a terrace. While the double-glazed windows block train noise effectively when closed, in warm weather the air conditioning may be limited or switched off centrally, and opening the window exposes the room to frequent train rumble from the nearby tracks - making rooms facing the tracks less suitable for light sleepers in summer.

Breakfast is a self-serve buffet in the lobby lounge, with breads, pastries, cheese, cold cuts, yogurt, and a few vegan options such as oat milk and plant-based spreads. There are no hot egg dishes (scrambled or fried), bacon, or sausages, and the selection is considered modest relative to the price. The lounge area uses low cocktail tables and stools, which some may find less comfortable for a sit-down breakfast. Coffee is included, and fresh filter coffee is available. The bar operates around the clock serving drinks, including cocktails and a small selection of gin, plus toasted sandwiches and crisps. For a fuller meal, the surrounding Kantstraße and Ku'damm area offers numerous restaurants within a short walk.

The hotel does not have a wellness centre, swimming pool, or fitness facilities. For active guests, bicycle rental is available at the property, allowing easy exploration of the Ku'damm area and Tiergarten. The terrace provides an outdoor seating space when weather permits.
