The pension sits on Wittenbergplatz, a lively square with direct access to U-Bahn lines U1, U2, and U3, providing swift connections to all major Berlin sights. The famous KaDeWe department store is just a few steps away, and the Kurfürstendamm shopping boulevard, Berlin Zoo, and the Europa Center are all within a 5-minute walk. Numerous restaurants, supermarkets, and a weekly market (three times a week, starting setup at 6:30 AM) are right outside. For airport transfers, take the S9 or RE8 from BER to Zoologischer Garten, then one stop on the U2 to Wittenbergplatz (45-50 minutes, zone ABC ticket €4.70). The area is ideal for car-free exploration, but parking is limited and paid.

Rooms vary in size and outlook. Square-facing rooms offer views of Wittenbergplatz but can be noisy from street traffic and the morning market, especially with windows open (no air conditioning). Courtyard-facing rooms are significantly quieter. Room decor is classic and functional, with parquet floors, heating, and soundproofing. All rooms include a private bathroom with shower, toilet, and hairdryer, though bathroom size can be compact in some rooms. Triple rooms with three single beds and connecting rooms with a shared bathroom are available for families or groups. A fan is provided, but no air conditioning is available. No tea/coffee making facilities in rooms, but free hot drinks are available 24/7 in the breakfast room. An extra bed can be added in some room types.

The breakfast buffet offers a solid continental spread: boiled eggs, three types of cheese, four types of sausage, four types of muesli and flakes, various spreads, bread, rolls, toast, juices, coffee, tea, milk, cocoa, water, and fruit. The breakfast room is open from 07:30 to 10:00, and staff typically keep food replenished until around 09:50; guests are welcome to stay past 10:00. During peak occupancy, the breakfast room can become crowded and queues may form. For those wanting more variety, numerous restaurants and cafés are within a short walk-including Noah's Restaurant, KaDeWe Feinschmeckerbars, and Italian options directly below the pension. Free tea, coffee, and hot drinks are available 24/7 in the breakfast room, even outside breakfast hours.

The pension does not have its own wellness or leisure facilities such as a spa, swimming pool, or fitness centre. The surrounding area offers abundant leisure options: Berlin Zoo is a 5-minute walk away, and the Tiergarten park is easily reachable for walks or jogging. The weekly market on Wittenbergplatz (three times a week) adds local colour. The breakfast room's 24/7 tea and coffee service provides a relaxed spot to plan the day.

Wi-Fi is free and available in all areas. Luggage storage is free before check-in and after check-out until 20:00, making it practical for flight-day exploration.
