The standard double room has a private bathroom but no kitchen, while the two-bedroom apartment includes a well-fitted kitchen (stovetop, oven, fridge, kettle, cookware) and a dining table. The two-bedroom layout sleeps up to six: one double in the master, two singles in the second bedroom, and a double sofa bed in the living area. The living area also has a flat-screen TV with streaming services (including Netflix) and a washing machine. Some units have a balcony. A consistent point is that the single-glazed windows provide very little noise insulation, so rooms facing Dale Street or adjacent alleyways pick up loud conversations, traffic, bin collections, and pub noise until early morning. The heating can be difficult to regulate; in colder months the oil-filled radiators may not be sufficient, and a few units rely on portable electric heaters. The sofa bed has been described as unstable, and some beds feel lumpy or have protruding springs. Cleaning standards are variable - a few units have had hair or dust on arrival.
