NICOLAS INN, Rome

Situated within 300 metres of Cavour Metro and 500 metres from Colosseo Metro Station, the location offers quick rail connections across Rome and to Termini station. The Colosseum and Roman Forum are reachable in under 5 minutes on foot, and the lively Monti district - known for its cafés, wine bars, and restaurants - is a 1-minute walk away. The area is safe, walkable to many major attractions (Spanish Steps about 25 minutes on foot), and the metro provides fast access to further landmarks. Rome Ciampino Airport is 14 km away. The excellent walkability and proximity to dining make this a practical base for first-time visitors and returning travellers alike.

All units include air conditioning, a private bathroom with shower, bidet, and hairdryer, plus free toiletries. Each room is equipped with a minibar, tea and coffee maker, electric kettle, desk, flat-screen TV, and a wardrobe. The property offers twin/double rooms (with one double or two single beds) and a triple room with two beds. Linen and towels are provided and changed daily as part of the optional housekeeping service. Rooms are noted as clean and fairly spacious, though the overall style is simple rather than modern. The property is described as quiet, and most rooms benefit from city views. Guests who prefer a specific bed setup can request it in advance.

Dining at the property includes the option of breakfast served in the room. A minimarket in the building provides beverages, light snacks, and everyday necessities, which is convenient for refilling water or buying a quick bite before heading out. The surrounding area offers a wide selection of restaurants within a 2-3 minute walk, including Italian pizza, Lebanese street food, and bistros. While the property does not operate a full restaurant or bar, the range of nearby dining choices means guests rarely need to walk far for a meal.

There are no on-site wellness or leisure facilities such as a pool, spa, or fitness centre. However, the property provides bicycle rental at an additional charge, along with bike tours and walking tours that explore local culture and landmarks. These activities offer a practical way to see the Colosseum area, Roman Forum, and Monti district. The free Wi-Fi throughout helps guests plan daily itineraries or work remotely before heading out.

Services include free Wi-Fi in all areas, a lift to all floors, private check-in/check-out, and an invoice provided for stays. Luggage storage is available for early arrivals or after check-out, allowing guests to explore without baggage. Daily housekeeping is offered at an additional charge, with linen and towels changed on a regular schedule. Security features fire extinguishers and key access. The property does not offer on-site parking - the area is pedestrian-friendly and served by metro. Cots are available on request, but pets are not permitted. The no-pets policy and flexible luggage service are practical for both short and longer stays.
