Hotel Details

Location

A 10-minute walk from Asakusa Station in a quiet residential area, with Senso-ji Temple and Tokyo Sky Tree within easy reach.
The hostel sits in a peaceful neighbourhood of Asakusa, about 600 metres from Asakusa Station (Asakusa and Ginza lines) and within a 10-15 minute walk of Kuramae and Honjo-Azumabashi stations. Public transport access is excellent, with direct trains to Narita and Haneda airports. Tokyo Origami Museum is 3 minutes on foot, and Komagatado is 700 metres away. A 24-hour convenience store (Lawson) is next door, and several restaurants and bars are within 0.3-0.5 km. The area is well-suited for walking to key attractions: Senso-ji Temple, Tokyo Sky Tree, and Sumida Riverside Hall are all close by.

Accommodation

Spacious capsule-style beds with lockable storage, reading light, sockets, and curtains offer a private sleeping space in dormitory rooms.
Dormitory rooms offer large, comfortable capsule beds, each with a curtain for privacy, a reading light, electrical sockets, a shelf that can be locked with a padlock, and hanging space. The capsules are notably spacious - large enough to store a full suitcase and backpack inside. Single private rooms are also available (with a shared bathroom). All bed linen is provided; towels are not. Rooms are air-conditioned but noise isolation is limited, and light sleepers may wish to bring earplugs. The traditional wooden building has steep stairs to the second floor, which can be challenging with luggage.

Dining

A well-equipped shared kitchen and dining area are available for self-catering, with a 24-hour convenience store next door.
The shared kitchen is fully equipped with stoves, a dining table, and space to store your own food. It serves as a social hub where travellers often cook together. There is no on-site restaurant or breakfast service. A 24-hour Lawson convenience store is steps from the door, and numerous local eateries are within a short walk, including Asakusa Smile Bar, Kamiya Bar, and various okonomiyaki and soba restaurants.

Facilities and Services

Free Wi-Fi in public areas, shared lounge with TV, luggage storage after check-out, and a no-nonsense security policy.
The hostel offers free Wi-Fi in public areas, a shared lounge/TV room, and a well-equipped shared kitchen. Luggage can be left in the common area after check-out until 7 PM, but cannot be stored before check-in day. Each bed has a lockable security box suitable for a small laptop, passport, and wallet - padlock not provided. CCTV operates in common areas, and there are fire extinguishers and smoke alarms. Check-in is 13:00-18:00; after-hours self check-in can be arranged with prior notice. Accepted payment: Visa and MasterCard.

Top Strategic Tips

  • 01

Arrive before 6 PM for in-person check-in, or contact the hostel in advance to arrange self check-in after hours.

  • 02

Bring your own padlock for the security locker in your bed, and your own towel as none are provided.

  • 03

Request a lower bunk if you have mobility concerns or a heavy suitcase, as the stairs to the second floor are steep.
