Adams Morgan's eclectic restaurants, bars and shops are within a 5-10 minute stroll, and Dupont Circle's dining and shopping are a 15-minute walk away. The National Zoo is 2 km away. While walkable to many attractions (the White House and Smithsonian museums are about 3 km), using the Metro or rideshare for longer distances is practical. The embassy-lined streets offer a very safe evening walking environment. For those driving, free street parking is extremely limited and time-restricted; the hotel's valet parking is priced at $55 per night and cannot be reserved in advance - it is first-come, first-served for compact and mid-size vehicles only. Many find that leaving the car parked and relying on transit or walking is the most convenient approach for city exploration.

Room categories include Deluxe King, Superior Queen with two beds, and ADA-accessible Deluxe King. All rooms feature flat-screen TVs, free Wi-Fi, work desks, minibars, in-room safes, ironing facilities, air conditioning, and heating. Some rooms have Nespresso coffee machines and French doors (no balconies). Bathrooms are private, with marble finishes and complimentary bath products, but some shower pressure is described as light. The building is older, and while rooms are clean and beds are comfortable, decor ranges from charmingly boutique to dated depending on the room.
