NORWOOD INN STATEFAIR GROUNDS, Indianapolis

The property is positioned in a neighborhood with loitering and occasional drug activity reported. Walking alone at night or leaving valuables in the car is not recommended. Free on-site private parking is available and is a practical advantage for those with a car, but the surrounding area is not safe for exploring on foot after dark.

The hotel does not offer a restaurant, bar, or breakfast service. For meals, guests will need to rely on the nearby chain restaurants or bring their own food. The vending machines provide a limited option for drinks and snacks. Anyone requiring a microwave or fridge to store and heat food must confirm the room includes these appliances at check-in.

The property provides no pool, spa, gym, or other leisure amenities. The surrounding area is not safe for walking or outdoor recreation.

Free Wi-Fi works throughout the building. Parking is free and on-site with no reservation required, including accessible parking spots. The 24-hour front desk processes check-ins and handles deposits, but staff have been reported to be confrontational and may threaten eviction for complaints. Daily housekeeping is advertised but is not reliably performed; guests often need to take used linen to the laundry room themselves. The property has CCTV and security alarms, but the hallways and elevator are often unclean. The business centre is available free of charge.
