The Blue Ridge Room features a king bed, a private bath with a tub/shower, an enclosed sun-room, and a private back porch with direct access to the fenced backyard. The Dogwood Suite includes a king bed, a private bath with step-in shower, a twin bed, a side room, and a private outside entry and porch. The Little Garden Room offers a queen bed, a full private bath with a petite spa walk-in shower, and views of downtown. The Garden Suite features a king bed, a daybed, a private deck, and a private bath with a tub/shower. The Magnolia Suite has a king bed, a sitting room, a private bath with a clawfoot tub/shower, and a bay window. Rose Room 7 is appointed with a queen bed. Rose Room 8 features a double bed. Rose Rooms 7 and 8 can be combined as a two-bedroom suite.

A full breakfast is served between 8:30 AM and 10 AM in the dining room. Special diet options and lighter options are available with 24-hour notice. Kid-friendly options and treats for pets are also available. Bean Werks Coffee is served, and guests can purchase a Coffee Bag with Bean Werks Coffee and two locally hand-thrown mugs.

Guests can relax in the living room by the fireplace or on the front porch. The property is pet-friendly, with a pet basket including bags, sheets, and towels. Oakland Cottage offers ticket services for the Biltmore Estate, Trolley Tours, and Food Tours. The property is near the Blue Ridge Parkway, which has over 100 trails that welcome leashed pets. It is near Asheville-Buncombe Technical College, Asheville Mission Hospital, and the Smith-McDowell House Museum. The Blue Ridge Parkway National Park allows easy access from Oakland Cottage. Complimentary parking is available in the front circular drive.
