Set on a private 24 hectare oceanfront sanctuary in Tavernier, just 10 minutes south of Key Largo, with easy access to US1 and area attractions.
The resort is located at mile marker 92.5 on the Overseas Highway, about 2 km from US1 via a private gatehouse road. Miami International Airport is 90 km north (1.2 hours), Key West is 2 hours south, and Fort Lauderdale is 1.4 hours north. The property is within walking distance of the beach and pier but is secluded from the main road, making a car essential for accessing restaurants, grocery stores, and activities. Nearby attractions include John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park (5 minutes), Everglades National Park (40 km), the Florida Keys Wild Bird Rehabilitation Center (4 minutes), and Harry Harris Park with a public beach (5 minutes). The area is a hub for diving, snorkeling, fishing, and eco-tours, with many tour operators a short drive away.

Accommodation

Spacious one- and two-bedroom suites with separate living/dining areas, fully equipped kitchens, and private balconies; each unit is individually owned and furnished.
One-bedroom suites are over 56 m² with a queen bed, living room with sleeper sofa, one bathroom, and a private balcony. Two-bedroom suites are 850-84 m² with a king bed in the master, two twin or full beds in the second bedroom, two bathrooms, a washer/dryer, and a private balcony-most with ocean views. All units include air conditioning, cable TV, DVD player, in-room safe, iron, and hair dryer. Kitchens come with a full-size refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher, cookware, dishes, and utensils; coffee makers are standard drip-style. Beds feature plush pillow-top mattresses and premium linens. Noise isolation between units is limited, and balcony sizes vary; some balconies are small and triangular. The overall decor and condition of the unit depend heavily on the owner, so the actual experience can range from modern and well-maintained to dated and worn.

Dining

The on-site restaurant, Island Grill at Ocean Pointe, serves lunch and dinner with limited hours; the cafe and pool bar are currently closed.
Island Grill at Ocean Pointe is open Thursday through Monday for lunch and dinner, with a menu focused on bar food and frozen items. The cafe and pool bar are closed until further notice, so grab-and-go breakfast and midday snacks are not available on property. Each suite has a fully equipped kitchen, and BBQ grills are available on a first-come, first-served basis, making self-catering a practical option. Numerous restaurants and a grocery store are within a 10-minute drive on US1, including options in Key Largo and Islamorada. Children's meals are available at the restaurant.

Leisure

A large heated outdoor pool, 14-person Jacuzzi hot tub, private sandy beach, pier, and two lighted tennis courts are the main leisure facilities on property.
The junior Olympic-sized heated pool is open year-round from 8:00 to 20:00, with sun loungers and pool towels provided in each suite. The private beach area is small with a sandy strip and a pier, though the water near the shore is shallow and rocky, making swimming more practical at the pool. The hot tub/Jacuzzi is free to use. Two lighted tennis courts are available at no charge, and there is also a children's playground and a beach volleyball court. Fishing is permitted from the beach, but jet skis are not allowed. Kayak and paddleboard rentals are available through a local vendor on site. The property also has a boardwalk and a panoramic oceanfront gazebo for relaxing. No spa or wellness center is available on site.

The resort fee also includes local phone calls and printing of airline boarding passes. A safety deposit box is provided in each room.
