The area around Eberswalder Straße station is full of bars, cafes, restaurants and shops, with many international dining options within a 300-metre radius (including sushi, Italian, burgers, and Vietnamese). The city centre and all main attractions are easily reached by tram or U-Bahn in around 20 minutes. Despite the lively neighbourhood, the street itself is relatively quiet. Useful for families: a park with children's play equipment is a short walk away.

All rooms are private and lockable, with windows that can be opened. Room sizes are generous, with a rack, drawers, a table, and a small locker in the common area for extra storage. The lighting scheme in street-facing rooms is adjustable. The shared bathrooms are individual lockable rooms (not open-plan), with three per floor - enough for the nine rooms on each level. Bathrooms are cleaned daily and stocked with towels and liquid soap. Street-facing rooms may pick up some noise, but the windows offer good soundproofing. Rooms at the back or on upper floors are quieter. Heating is good, making the building comfortable even in winter.

The shared kitchen is well-equipped with cookware, utensils, a refrigerator (with labelled compartments), and free tea and coffee. It is ideal for preparing simple meals. The surrounding area offers a vast choice of restaurants and cafes within a 5-minute walk - including sushi, Italian, burgers, Vietnamese, and bakeries. Supermarkets are also nearby for self-catering supplies.
