MK BED & BREAKFAST BERLIN, Berlin

The hotel sits in a lively neighbourhood with numerous multicultural restaurants, bars, and green spaces within walking distance. Bornholmer Straße S-Bahn station is a ten-minute walk away, and the nearby U9 and tram lines provide quick connections across Berlin, including easy access to the Reichstag. For drivers, on-site parking is limited to four spaces, but the excellent transit links reduce the need for a car. The area of Gesundbrunnen/Wedding offers a practical base with local shops and eateries.

Accommodation ranges from single to double rooms, all with modern décor and parquet flooring. The 'French' double room is compact with a bed against one wall, while superior rooms offer more space and a larger bathroom. Each room has a kettle for hot drinks, but no microwave or fridge. Heating is available, though temperature control can be inconsistent. Rooms are cleaned daily, but supplies such as toiletries may need to be requested if they run out. There is no balcony, and street-facing rooms may pick up noise from the busy road. For a quieter stay, request a room facing the courtyard. The lift serves all floors, and wheelchair-accessible rooms are available.

The breakfast buffet includes bread, pastries, cold cuts, and hot drinks - a basic continental spread. For additional drinks and snacks, vending machines are located on the ground floor. As there is no restaurant on site, lunch and dinner are best found at the many nearby eateries within a five-minute walk, such as Prinzinger, Curry & Chilli, and Sofra Grill.

The hotel offers a lift, wheelchair access, and a safety deposit box at reception. Express check-in/out is available, and luggage can be stored until 14:00. There is a shared lounge/TV area and vending machines for drinks and snacks. Bike storage is possible in the courtyard, but no laundry facilities are on site. Daily housekeeping is provided, and an invoice is available upon request. The property is non-smoking throughout, and key card access controls entry. CCTV and fire extinguishers are in place for security.
