The hotel sits on Bernauer Straße, right on the former Berlin Wall route. The M10 tram line runs directly in front, reaching Berlin Hauptbahnhof in about 15 minutes. The U-Bahn (U2, U8) is a short walk, making the entire city easily accessible. Mauerpark, with its famous Sunday flea market, is across the street, and many restaurants and bars are within a 5-minute walk (East Moon, O Der Burger, Supersonico). Berlin Brandenburg Airport is about 30 km away and reachable by public transport in roughly one hour. The location is ideal for sightseeing, attending events at Max Schmelling Halle, or exploring Prenzlauer Berg.

All rooms feature parquet flooring, a safe deposit box, and city views. Some rooms have large windows and natural light, but none have air conditioning. Street-facing rooms can be noisy due to traffic and trams, while courtyard-facing rooms are quieter. The furniture is basic and can feel dated; some rooms are compact. Connecting doors between rooms allow sound to travel easily, so corridor noise is common. Hypoallergenic bedding is provided, and extra cots can be arranged on request. For a more comfortable stay, choose a room on a higher floor or facing the interior.

The breakfast buffet includes bread, cold cuts, yogurt, cereal, eggs, and a variety of hot drinks. The selection is basic but sufficient for a filling start. Vending machines with drinks and snacks are available 24/7. The hotel does not have a restaurant or bar for lunch or dinner, but the surrounding area offers numerous dining options within a short walk, including Asian, burger, and Mexican cuisine. Guests with dietary restrictions can request gluten-free bread at breakfast.

There is no pool, spa, or gym on-site. The terrace provides a simple outdoor space for relaxation. Mauerpark, directly across the street, is a large public park with a weekly flea market, open-air events, and ample space for jogging. The Berlin Wall Memorial, also a short walk away, offers an open-air museum and documentation centre. For indoor leisure, the Kulturbrauerei cultural centre (10 minutes on foot) hosts concerts, film screenings, and markets.
