ONEFAM ARBES, Prague

The hostel sits in a quiet residential district on the west side of the Vltava River, within easy reach of Prague Castle (2 km), St. Vitus Cathedral and Charles Bridge (both 2 km). The tram runs every few minutes, and a bus stop serving the airport is located in the same square. Supermarkets, restaurants, and a shopping mall are within a few minutes' walk, so daily errands and meals are convenient without venturing far.

The hostel offers single-gender and mixed dormitories (4-, 6-, 8-bed configurations). Each bed has a curtain for privacy, a personal lamp, and a power outlet. Large under-bed lockers are provided - bring your own padlock or buy one at reception. The rooms are heated but have no air conditioning, which can make summer nights warm; fans are available but limited. Bathrooms are shared per floor, with showers that operate via a push-button that runs for about ten seconds. Cleanliness is maintained through daily housekeeping, though peak times can see bathrooms become messy. Rooms facing the street may experience some tram noise, but the area is generally quiet.

The hostel prepares a complimentary dinner nightly (guests sign up earlier in the day), which is a social highlight - a simple but hearty meal eaten together. The shared kitchen is modern and well-stocked with pots, pans, an oven, blender, and plenty of utensils; free tea and coffee are also available. For those who prefer eating out, the surrounding area offers numerous cafés and restaurants within a three-minute walk, covering a range of cuisines and price points.

The hostel organises a variety of free activities such as guided walking tours of Prague, movie nights in the lounge, live sport broadcasts, and board games. For a small additional fee, pub crawls are arranged, connecting guests with other Onefam hostels for a night out. There is also a games room and occasional park outings. The common area is designed for socialising, with a large TV, comfortable seating, and a kitchen-lounge layout. Note that the common room closes from midnight to 6:00 AM.

WiFi is free throughout the building. Luggage storage is available free of charge until 6:00 PM on your check-out day, and the 24-hour reception means you can arrive or leave at any hour. Laundry service costs 300 CZK (€15) per load. Security includes CCTV in common areas, key-card access, and under-bed lockers. Pets are allowed (charges may apply). No parking is provided.
