Taxis generally need to be hailed from Plaza Santa Cruz rather than from the door. Public transport and tram stops are nearby, but most key sights are easily reached on foot.

Accommodation options include double rooms with shared or private bathrooms, and dormitories (female and mixed, up to 8 beds). Dorm beds have privacy curtains, individual reading lights, power sockets, and under-bed lockers. Beds are metal-framed and can be noisy; top bunks lack a proper ladder, making access difficult. Some private rooms and inner dorms have no exterior window, leading to poor ventilation. The property is split across two buildings - the main building and a second, more run-down building across the street. Air conditioning is available, though control may require staff assistance. Linens are provided; towels cost €1 to rent.
