Bus stops to the city centre are also within 5-7 minutes' walk. Aintree Racecourse is a 4-minute drive or a short taxi ride (£5). Anfield Stadium is 5 km away, Everton's Goodison Park is 7 minutes by car, and the Bootle ferry terminal (services to Dublin) is 8 minutes away. John Lennon Airport is 19 km from the hotel. Breakfast is served from 7:30-8:45 on weekdays and 8:30-10:00 on weekends. It is a freshly cooked full English breakfast, with options including vegetarian, gluten-free, and vegan alternatives. The cooked breakfast is generally well-regarded, though some have found portions small and the food not always hot. A self-serve continental section with cereal, yoghurt, fruit, and toast is also available. The on-site Sarus Tapas Bar & Grill is open for dinner Tuesday-Sunday (16:00-22:00, Sunday 14:00-21:00) and serves Mexican, Spanish, Latin American, and grill/BBQ cuisine. The food is described as fresh, tasty, and good value, with options for vegans and gluten-free diets. The bar serves wines, cocktails, and a lounge area with TV. A selection of nearby takeaways and a supermarket (ASDA, 5 min walk) offer additional choices.

The hotel does not have a spa, wellness centre, or swimming pool. Leisure facilities are limited to a small garden area at the front and a shared lounge/TV area. The bar and lounge provide a social space in the evenings. The property also hosts a monthly quiz night in the restaurant.
