The Lingotto station connects to Turin city centre (Porta Nuova) in about 10 minutes by train, and to Turin Airport via regular service. The Olympic Stadium and the Lingotto exhibition centre (host of the Turin International Book Fair) are within easy walking distance - around 10-15 minutes. The immediate neighbourhood is quiet and residential, but the streets around the hostel can feel deserted at night; travelling by car or taxi is recommended for solo travellers after dark. Free public parking is available on nearby streets and at an off-site lot, no reservation needed. Bicycle parking is also provided.

Each room features a wardrobe, a work desk, and heating. Some dormitory beds have a balcony. Private rooms come with an en-suite shower and hairdryer; shared bathrooms are also available. Noise from the central boiler may affect rooms on upper floors - rooms away from the corridor are quieter. Cleanliness has been inconsistent: while many find the rooms tidy, some have reported issues with mould, dust, or pests. Lockers are provided, but their condition varies - check on arrival. Towels are included for private rooms; in dorms, bring or purchase travel soap as none is provided in bathrooms. The lift gives access to upper floors, and non-smoking policy is enforced throughout.

The garden provides a quiet outdoor space for relaxation. The shared lounge/TV area is a comfortable spot to read or meet other travellers. Board games are available at reception. Bicycle parking is offered free of charge. No spa, pool, gym, or organised activities are available - the hostel focuses on affordable basecamp accommodation rather than recreational amenities.
