QUALITY INN & SUITES WEST CHASE, Houston

The property sits in a west Houston location with several dining options within 0.5 km, including Whataburger, China Cottage, Zoes Kitchen and MOD Pizza. CityCentre Plaza is a short drive, and The Galleria shopping district is 14 km away. Free off-site parking is available, making a car the most practical way to explore the area; public transport connections and airport shuttles are absent. The immediate surroundings have been noted for the presence of homeless individuals in the parking lot and lobby, which affects the comfort of those arriving or leaving on foot after dark.

Room types include family rooms with two beds, quadruple rooms, suites, and triple rooms with two beds. Bedding consists of very comfortable mattresses, though some linens are thin. All rooms are designated non-smoking. Shared bathrooms are standard; no rooms have a private bathroom or balcony. The overall condition of the building and rooms shows significant wear: external and stairwell cleanliness is poor, equipment such as the elevator and chair may have safety hazards, and temperature regulation has been inconsistent. Travellers with high expectations for modern furnishings or strict hygiene standards should weigh these conditions before booking.

Breakfast is a basic continental selection of pastries and juice served in the morning. Hot water and refills have been observed to run out quickly. For a fuller meal, four chain restaurants are within 0.5 km (Whataburger, China Cottage, Zoes Kitchen, MOD Pizza). The property has no restaurant, bar or room service, so all main meals must be obtained outside the hotel.

The property offers free Wi-Fi throughout and free private parking at a nearby location without reservation. A 24-hour front desk can assist with photocopying and faxing for an additional fee, and laundry is also available for a surcharge. Pets and smoking are not permitted anywhere on site. Accepted payment methods include American Express, Visa, Diners Club, JCB, Discover, Carte Blanche and MasterCard. The front desk service hours are 24/7, though response time and availability have been reported as inconsistent, particularly during late hours.
