This hotel is situated in the vibrant Marais district, placing you within easy walking distance of boutique shopping, lively bars, and excellent restaurants. Place de la Bastille and its opera house are just a 3-minute walk away, while the Hôtel de Ville and Centre Pompidou are a 20-minute stroll. The Bastille metro station (lines 1, 5, and 8) is right around the corner, providing direct connections across Paris. For arrivals from Charles de Gaulle airport, the RER B train to Châtelet then metro line 1 to Bastille is the cheapest public option. Despite the lively neighbourhood, rooms facing the courtyard are notably quiet. Taxis are readily available at the front door and the Gare de Lyon is close for train departures.

All rooms include a private bathroom with either a shower or bathtub (bathtubs are only in deluxe rooms). Each room also offers a working desk, telephone, flat-screen satellite TV, minibar, and free tea/coffee making facilities. The standard double rooms are compact, but deluxe rooms on the 6th floor are more spacious with a street view and windows on two sides. Connecting rooms consist of a Classic double with a queen bed and a Deluxe room with either a king bed or twin beds, each with its own bathroom - ideal for families. Interior rooms facing the courtyard are very quiet, while street-facing rooms are brighter but may be noisier in the morning. The mattress quality is consistently described as very comfortable, though pillow quality varies. Light sleepers should request a higher floor or courtyard-facing room.

The hotel offers a daily French buffet breakfast for 16€, featuring bread, pastries, fresh fruit, yogurt, eggs (boiled and scrambled), a selection of meats and cheeses, juices, and coffee. The breakfast area is pleasant and the service is attentive. Breakfast can also be delivered to your room. For lunch and dinner, a wide variety of restaurants, including the famous Bofinger brasserie, Chez Janou, and many cafés and bistros, are within a 3-minute walk. The immediate area is filled with dining options, and the hotel staff are very helpful with recommendations and reservations. There is no hotel restaurant for lunch or dinner.
