PM-ROOMS, Munich

PM-Rooms is situated in a safe, quiet residential area of Munich. The Hirschgarten S-Bahn station is a 10-minute walk (850 m), and tram lines 18 and 19 stop just 50 metres from the entrance, reaching Munich Central Station and the city centre in about 15 minutes. Buses are also nearby. The property is 2 km from Nymphenburg Palace, 3 km from Oktoberfest grounds, and 4 km from Frauenkirche. The nearest airport is Munich Airport, 41 km away. Several supermarkets (Aldi, Rewe, Edeka, dm) and a range of restaurants - including traditional Bavarian dining at Kastaniengarten - are within 500 metres to 1 km on foot. The Backstage concert venue is 500 metres away.

All rooms are private - no dormitory beds. Single, double, and triple rooms are available, each with a flat-screen TV, fridge, desk, wardrobe, tea/coffee making facilities, and a fan (no air conditioning). The double room also includes a washing machine, coffee machine, and dining area; the single and triple rooms have a kitchenette with oven and refrigerator. Heating is adjustable. Shared bathrooms are separated by gender and kept clean, with the female section offering four individual shower stalls. Some street-facing rooms can be noisy in the morning, while courtyard-facing rooms are quieter. Rooms vary in size - many are spacious and simply furnished. Light sleepers may prefer a courtyard-facing room or bring earplugs.

PM-Rooms does not have a restaurant or serve breakfast. Instead, the shared kitchen is fully equipped with cookware, utensils, an oven, refrigerator, and a dining area - plus complimentary tea, coffee, and occasionally basic items like eggs and bread. For those who prefer eating out, a variety of restaurants are within 0.5-1 km on foot, including traditional Bavarian cuisine, Asian options, and fast food. Supermarkets (Aldi, Rewe, Edeka, dm) are also nearby for self-catering supplies.

Wi-Fi is available free in all areas (though occasional disruptions have been reported). Free public parking is available on site, but spaces are limited and cannot be reserved. Luggage storage is provided free of charge if arranged in advance. A washing machine and dryer are available for €2 per use.
